PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The 2011 Northeast International Auto Show drives automotive excitement into the Rhode Island Convention Center, Thursday, January 27 through Sunday, January 30 with hundreds of the latest cars, crossovers, trucks and more. From pre-production models to the latest alternative fuel vehicles, this automotive extravaganza offers the opportunity for families, car fanatics and consumers in the market for a new car to see the newest advancements in a no pressure atmosphere.
Attendees are invited to check out all the latest vehicles in a non-selling environment, sit behind the wheels, inspect engines, learn about new fuel-saving automotive technologies and even take a test drive in new models. Cruise around the auto show floor and check out the latest hybrids and electric-powered vehicles including the plug-in electric Chevrolet Volt, Honda CR-Z, Lincoln MKZ and more. The auto show will also feature hot pre-production models including the 2011 Chevrolet Camaro Convertible, 2012 Ford Focus, 2012 Ford Mustang Boss 302 and more.
Auto show visitors can check out the Motorcraft / Quick Lane Ford Shelby Mustang Nitro Funny Car on display at this year’s Northeast International Auto Show. Powered by a V8 Boss Engine that produces 8,000 Horsepower, this car can go 0 to 100 MPH in just 0.8 seconds! A 2008 Cobra Jet Mustang and Factory Five ’33 Hot Rod will be included in the display as well.
